Most heavy oil wells have problems with production because of high viscosity of the oil in the tubing. When crude oil flows into a wellbore, pressure and temperature are reduced. As the oil/water solution cools, the paraffins change to a solid form. The paraffin deposits obstruct the flow of crude oil and water particles cause problems. DFI provides Enercat tool that creates vibrational energy to stabilize the original micelle structure to prevent paraffin from turning into solid form.
